Tonight's homework:
1. Biome mini poster is due tomorrow (see the post below this for research websites). Remember to include climate information (precipitation, temperature, vegetation, land forms), sketches of 3 organisms from that biome, at least 3 interesting facts, and a blank world map for you to colour in where the biome is all over the world.
2. Read for 20 minutes and add it to your reading log
Upcoming due dates:
Day I was Born booklet is due on Friday, September 26th
Math 1.1 hardcover questions 1,3,4,6 (p.8-9) are due on Friday, September 26th
Reminders:
Your monthly Language Arts test will be next Monday. It will include some journal writing, reading comprehension, and the skills we have worked on so far: spelling, plural/singular nouns, and common/proper nouns.
You have a spelling quiz every Tuesday - be sure to practice your 5 words.
The Scholastic book fair has begun, so bring some money for books!
