Farewell GAD and Class of 2015!

I just wanted to say again what a wonderful year I have had with all of you (2 years with some of you count grade 6 HACE).  I can't imagine next year without you all, but I know you will all have a great time in high school.

On that note, sorry for being so vague about where I'll be next year, but I needed to make sure all of the right people knew before I could announce anything.  Today will be my last day at G.A.D.  It has been an exciting 2 years and I am so grateful for all that I have learned and experienced here, but it is time for me to pursue my goal to work in the public education system.  I don't know exactly where I'll be next year, but I may teach some of you again in the future (I hope so!)

Congratulations grads of 2015!  This is not goodbye, it's just see you later ;)

Homework Tuesday, June 16th

What a wonderful day of learning all planned by you, the students!  Thank you so much for planning exciting learning activities for us - you would all make excellent teachers!

Tonight's homework

1. read for 20 minutes
2. your French projects will be presented on Thursday
3. You final, edited grad speeches need to be ready for practice on Thursday

Tomorrow is our intermediate track meet.  Please come to school dressed in PE clothes.  Wear/bring sunscreen, a hat, a water bottle, a portable lunch, and a towel in case we go to the water park.

If you do not have your permission form with you first thing in the morning you will not be going with us - no exceptions.

Homework June 15th

Thank you for your fun and informative presentation Roman Culture group!  Tomorrow we will spend our day seeing the presentations of, and participating in the activities planned by the other 3 groups.

Your homework tonight is to complete any finishing touches to your project and come prepared with everything you need for your presentation and activity.

Reminders:

Your French project needs to be completed by Thursday

Playland forms and money, and your track meet permission forms are due no later than Wednesday morning

Make sure your parents are given the grad potluck forms

We will be at Camp Elphinstone from Monday-Wednesday of next week.  Students who are not coming camping are required to be at school - failure to attend will result in missed assignments and loss of completion marks.
