Homework Thursday, January 15th

Congratulations on the success of yesterday's bake sale.  Your hard work paid off - we raised $591 to help fight world hunger!  I am so, so, soooo proud of all of your efforts and your commitment to making the sale a success!

Tonight's homework:

1. 20 minutes on your reading log (I will be checking these tomorrow)
2. Your chosen poem for the poetry recital contest needs to be typed or written out neatly and shown to me tomorrow

The rest of the homework items are not due tomorrow - see the dates for each one:

3. Math chapter 4 review p. 168-170 q's 5,8,15,16,17 - these are to help you study for Monday's chapter 4 test
4. Practice words for Tuesday's spelling quiz
5. Hunger Games homework (due Wednesday)

• read chapter 18
• Journal response: Why would the Game Makers suddenly change the rules so that two victors from the same District could both win the Hunger Games?  Do you think this change would make the audience happy or angry – why?
