Camp Elphinstone Information
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1.
Space on the bus is very limited.
In addition, students will have to hold their bags on their laps and will also
be carrying their belongings 20minutes to camp. Therefore, students are NOT
allowed to bring carry-on size suitcases. ALL belongings must fit into a school
sized backpack.
2.
Do not bring ANY food, as food in
the lodging facility may attract wild animals. All food will be provided by the
camp.
3.
Students will be responsible for
any money you wish to give them for the ferry. $20 is more than enough money to
buy snacks on the ferry.
4.
There will be no phone available
for the students to use. There is very limited reception. Therefore, parents
will not be able to contact their children during the trip. If there is an
emergency, please contact the camp directly on their land line, and they will

You need to prepare your story to be presented during the hike.
You need to tell your parents that we will be returning to the school between 4:15-4:30 pm so they need to make arrangements to have you picked up then.

- good running/athletic shoes
- sunscreen
- a hat
