FIELD TRIP REMINDERS

You need to be ON TIME on Tuesday morning.  We will begin boarding the bus at 8:15 am and will leave the school promptly at 8:30 with or without you - there will be no refunds as the bus has already been paid for.

You need to prepare your story to be presented during the hike.

You need to tell your parents that we will be returning to the school between 4:15-4:30 pm so they need to make arrangements to have you picked up then.

We are hiking rain or shine, so here's what you need to wear to/bring to school with you:
- weather appropriate athletic clothing (check the weather here:  http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/canada/british-columbia/coquitlam)
- good running/athletic shoes
- sunscreen
- a hat
- sunglasses
- lots of water (2 bottles are suggested) - not pop, sugary juice, Hawaiian Punch, etc.
- Portable lunch and snacks (granola bars and fruit will give you energy) - bring lots, you will get hungry
- a small backpack or PE bag to carry it all

DO NOT BRING
- electronics (unless you are the assigned camera person)
- umbrellas
- school supplies (they will weigh you down and be unnecessary)
- food items that need to be heated - all food must be able to be eaten on our hike breaks
- heavy books
- anything you cannot carry with you - we will not be able to leave things on the bus

Have a great long weekend!  I'm looking forward to hiking with you on Tuesday!
